GALA DINNER *SOLD OUT*
Friday 14th February
Festivities once again kick off the weekend on the Friday night with the annual ‘Ocean to plate’ Seafood Gala dinner, this year hosted by Peruvian Chef Alejandro Saravia (Pastuso, Farmers Daughters) showcasing local seafood from the Apollo Bay Fisherman’s Co-Op and Apollo Bays freshest locally sourced ingredients. Guests will be treated to a banquet of share plates and along with drinks and dessert. Last year’s dinner sold out in record time so make sure to get in quick!
HARBOUR DAY
Saturday 15th February
The main event! From 10am the harbour will launch into pack-filled day of pop-up restaurants, cooking dremonstrations, and seafood markets. Kids will be able to get in on the fun with a hands-on educational program featuring interactive demonstrations and displays, sailing lessons, casting competitions and harbour expeditions. With some Australia’s best musical acts, the festivities will wind up late into into the evening.
CONVERSATIONS
Sunday 16th February
In 2020 Conversations will again draw in a range of speakers including fishermen, scientists, farmers, chefs and Indigenous knowledge keepers to explore the hot button issues that affect the ocean and the land, and how we as humans can live with both in harmony rather than depleting and destroying. Hosted by festival MC’s Richard Cornish and Hilary McNevin and feature special guest speakers.
